Constructed from 5mm Aluminium, punched in an intricate pattern of diamond shapes.
The landmark park located in the suburb of Avalon in Lower Hutt, began development in 2015 and was completed in 2018. It features the Omos s59.2 seat, Tilley Horizon Tilt Bin and Plaza Drinking Fountain as well as Tilley Stud Plank, a custom-designed picnic setting, bespoke childrens talk tubes and custom 5.0mm mild steel laser cut decorative feature panels all produced by Tilley.

Perforated screening, such as these, located at Five Mile Shopping Centre in Queenstown, is achieved through one of our four CNC Turret Presses. Indexed tooling stations allow precision punching, superior quality and the perforation of various metals.
It’s always rewarding to participate in a project that has so much meaning to a city and pays homage to our national identity. Working with Wraight & Associates and LT McGuinness on the Wellington Cenotaph Precinct was a gratifying experience. We collaborated with the talented folk of Wraight & Associates on a modified version of the Wellington City Council Eddy Seat, adding value to the design and complementing the immediate environment. Scheduling the manufacture of these items with LT McGuinness Construction Ltd, to ensure the project deadline was met.
High end project work is always satisfying. Assisting iconic fuel distribution companies Chevron and Z-energy with rollouts of fuel payment kiosk projects tested the envelope in all areas of our business. A collaborative approach was adopted at all stages of these projects. 3D computer modelling and prototyping enabled multiple alterations and production considerations prior to manufacture.
Our advanced CNC manufacturing plant, skill sets and co-ordination with suppliers ensured precision cutting, punching, folding, welding, finishing and assembly of all components. Our ISO system ensured quality and conformity at all stages of production.
Tilley Group Ltd excels in the perforation of metal products. We were honoured to work with renowned New Zealand artist, Jeff Thomson on ‘Flora’. Commissioned by the Auckland City Council, now part of their public art collection and located at Whangaparaoa Public Library.
